Lip Sync Battle, based on the popular television show, lets guests compete to be the lip-syncing champion of the ship. The fitness center has the latest cardio- and weight-training equipment catering to all fitness levels. The fitness center serves as the location for a wide range of instructor-led exercise classes including free classes in stretching, toning, and conditioning.

After being outside for a little while, it was time for me to head inside to avoid getting sunburned. I walked down the front stairwell to the Promenade Deck (5). I walked from the front of the deck through the atrium and had a good view of Deck 3's atrium lobby below. However, the atrium lobby was crowded with several guests at the atrium bar and lined up at guest services. I will share atrium pictures in later portions of this cruise review. On the other side of the Deck 5 atrium is the Winner's Luck Casino.

The card has a designated owner and must be utilized for all money transactions on the ship as cash is accepted as a form of payment only at the casino. These cards are provided to all passengers (incl minors) immediately upon boarding the ship. Balance updates are provided at Guest Services desk (at any time). They can also be checked via the smart TV in each stateroom.
Interior with Picture Window (Walkway View)
Near the front section of the buffet (close to the mid-ship elevators) there is a Menu Mate station. This area is where guests can get information & help regarding allergies, ingredients, and more. When I walked out of the Sapphire Dining Room on Deck 3, I was directly behind the atrium bar by the atrium spiral staircase. The atrium area was used for live music and trivia/games during the day. The ship's atrium has four glass elevators that go up to Deck 12.

It is decked out with koi kites, Bonsai trees and artwork made by graffiti painters Erni Vales. The restaurant offers sushi, sashimi, and rolls along with bento boxes and "sushi vessel". Pricing is a la carte, from 1 dollar for appetizersized pieces to 15 dollars for sushi for a couple. CCL Breeze ship also has 368 connecting ("Family" cabins), 79 "Cloud 9 Spa", 35 wheelchair-accessible, and "Cove Balcony" cabins (located on Deck 2/by the lifeboats). The largest are the Grand Suites (345 ft2 / 32 m2 plus 85 ft2 / 8 m2 terrace) with max occupancy 4 passengers. After breakfast, I walked outside and looked out from the back of Deck 10.
Shipboard entertainment options - Fun and Sport
With wide expanses of deck space, two outdoor swimming pools, and several hot tubs, the Carnival Breeze offers outdoor fun for all tastes. In addition to the 21 massage and other private treatment rooms, the Cloud 9 Spa has a thermal suite that is much like a traditional Turkish bath. It features heated chaise lounges, a tropical shower, and an unbeatable view. The thalassotherapy pool with its bubbling waters is relaxing and therapeutic. Couples might want to request one of the two VIP couples rooms that come complete with their own private whirlpool. On this page you will find pictures of Carnival Breeze cruise ship.

After checking in our luggage we headed to the other end of the cruise terminal for check-in. A cruise terminal employee was outside helping direct people that were arriving, but until the doors opened cruisers were stuck sitting on a bench or on the cement walkway. Right before the cruise terminal doors opened more employees came outside to help guests enter the building. Both of us flew to Miami the morning of the cruise to meet up and get on board. The comfortable beds in the Carnival Breeze balcony cabin can be set up as twins or a queen-sized bed.
The bathroom’s 2-pin plug can be used only for electric razors. The 3690-passenger ship Carnival Breeze was launched on June 3, 2012. This ship introduced the line's first complete "Fun Ship 2.0" concept. It is a fleetwide initiative concentrated on food, drink, and amusement, allowing Carnival cruise passengers to tour, taste and laugh their way through new onboard places.
After walking around the Carnival Breeze's SPA and Fitness Center on Deck 12, I went back up the spiral staircase to Deck 15 to have another quick look outside. The WaterWorks was still not open yet, but I could see the deck chairs by the main Lido pool were mostly occupied. Click deck pictures to go to individual cruise deck plan pages where you can see all the public areas, venues and stateroom cabins categories for each deck. The standard balcony cabin has a private balcony with two chairs and a table. One of the best cruise experiences is sitting on your own balcony and enjoying the sunrise with a cup of coffee or the sunset with a cold drink.

Bathroom amenities vary each time, so it’s advisable you bring your own. Samples may include toothpaste, mouthwash, dental floss, body lotion, razor, antiacids. There is a wall-mounted dispenser in the shower stall (for liquid soap and shampoo). Electric power outlets are located in the desk/vanity area – one 110 V outlet (3-pronged, USA grounded) and one 220 V outlet (European standard).
Or if you prefer to do your dancing on a dance floor, check out Liquid Nightclub™. Speaking of liquid, Alchemy Bar® serves up cocktail concoctions made with ingredients a little less ordinary and flavors a lot more interesting. Then there's always something funny going on at the Punchliner Comedy Club™. On Carnival Breeze, fun-fan faves like SportSquare™, and mouth-watering dining spots like Cucina del Capitano®, are just the beginning of how this ship keeps the fun blazing.
There were designated sections for suite guests and special assistance. Due to the Covid-19 protocols there was not a Captain's Lounge for Platinum & Diamond guests. Faster to the Fun was also not offered for this cruise due to the Covid-19 protocols. While waiting in the cruise terminal I walked over to the windows to look down at the pier and look at the ship. It looked like guests were still getting off the previous cruise. Premium Vista Balcony cabins are located around the ship’s aft corners and have same suite amenities (incl a wrap-around balcony).
When I got near the back of Deck 5 I walked through Piano Bar 88. The piano bar was open late into the first night and would be open again in the evening on the second night. The stateroom's bathroom was very similar to every other Carnival ship's stateroom bathroom that I have had. In the shower, shampoo and shower gel were available in a dispenser. I SO want to take a cruise on the Breeze while she's still in Galveston, our drive to port. Those who do need a break from the crowds can find it on the lesser-populated Lanai Deck or in some secluded front-of-ship deck space.
On its Florida round-trips, the ship visits popular islands and ports of call in the Eastern, Western and Southern Caribbean. Starting December 2016, the ship will be leaving from Port of Galveston Texas to Western Caribbean and Florida-Bahamas ports of call. Follows the complete list of Carnival Breeze lounges, clubs and other entertainment venues for kids, teens, and adults. While on Deck 5 I stepped outside onto the Lanai to get a picture of the sunrise. I was able to get some pictures before my camera lenses fogged up again. Click on top left to choose a different ship or use the menu above which is specific for Carnival Breeze.
The ship does have a few premium dining options if you're seeking a special night out. Bonsai Sushi, the first full-service sushi bar on a Carnival ship, serves freshly prepared sushi onboard, and you really can't beat fresh fish when you're already at sea. The Coffee Bar is a gourmet coffee shop with specialty coffees and pastries. While there is a free pasta bar onboard, Cucina del Capitano serves higher-end Italian meals—and the servings are huge. Finally, the Steakhouse restaurant on the Carnival Breeze is one of the more expensive options, but the food is delicious and expertly prepared.
