After looking around the mini golf course and entire SportsSquare complex I continued walking towards the front of the ship on Deck 12. I passed by an open area that looked over the main pool on the Lido Deck. Some of the deck chairs were already taken, but many empty chairs were available.

Around 3pm our cruise director, Jasper, came over the PA to let guests know that the captain asked all guests that had not yet completed the self-mustering process to attend. The kids area has a huge water park with slides and it was a busy place for kids. We thought about going down one of the slides, but never did actually do it. Since we were in ports for 4 days straight, we just didn’t take the time the other days to actually try out the slide. I think the appeal of reading in the cabana lounges took over and won out over my childlike enthusiasm about actually trying the slide. We got onboard about an hour from sailing time, and enjoyed the views of Miami and the docks. Lots of ships board from here and it’s a busy place, back and forth from the airport.

While I was walking around the Carnival Breeze I noticed the nightclub was open so I walked in to take some pictures. There are two sides to the Serenity Adults Only Retreat on Deck 12. I walked to the other side which had a hottub, more deck chairs, and clamshells. I did not get take as many pictures of this side as other guests were walking up to use deck chairs.
Extended Balcony cabins are in 2 grades – 8N and 8M (both with aft ship location). These staterooms have 50% larger balconies, 3 closets (in all grades balcony rooms), full bathroom (shower). Cove Balcony cabins feature floor-ceiling window doors leading to a private cove (partially enclosed) veranda. Breeze is the last of Carnival's Dream-class liners (Fincantieri Monfalcone-built), with sisterships Dream and Magic, and also Costa Diadema. Some have a sofa and/or upper beds (Pullman) for 3rd/4th person. Spa Oceanview rooms are with obstructed views, and some are with upper bed (Pullman) for 4th person. The jogging track on Deck 12 was busy with many guests running, walking, or jogging. The mini golf course was not busy at this early time of the morning. I took pictures of the Deck 12 level of the mini golf course and also headed up to the Deck 14 level of the mini golf course.
I decided to continue walking around so I walked down from Deck 10 to Deck 5. I started at the front of Deck 5 and worked my way towards the back. Around the front atrium area of Deck 5 is the Carnival Breeze's Fun Shops.

The Winner's Luck Casino on Deck 5 has several slot machines & game tables, a large bar, and the cashier's station. At the time of this cruise, the Deck 5 level of the Winner's Luck Casino allows smoking when the casino is open & a guest is playing at a slot machine. Smoking is prohibited when bunkering (fuel operations) is taking place. When it was closer to time for breakfast, I walked down to the Lido Deck to the Lido Marketplace. My pictures of the main pool area & deck chairs have many guests so I am not including them in the review. I entered the Lido Marketplace buffet, but the lines were not yet open.
One side has jewelry and perfume related stores, but the other side has Carnival Logo items, liquor, and Cherry On Top. All of the shops were closed at this time of the day, but would open up mid-morning. Outside on the Lido decks, there are 3 floors that go up and up to so many activities.
All cabin and suite mini-bars are stocked with premium liquors ($6-9,25), beer ($6,25), energy drinks ($5), soft soda/beverages ($2), bottled water ($3,75). In-cabin babysitting is not available (read more at Camp Ocean below). Cribs in cruise cabins are provided complimentary (upon request). In Main Dining Rooms are provided complimentary high chairs and booster seats.
